My desire to help people began at an early age for my immensely patient, loving and kind parents, both who worked in the medical field, were influential role models in my career choices. Not having the proclivity for sciences, becoming a doctor like my Mother was not going to be a part of my journey, yet my parents’ spirit and the inbred desire to be of service that comes from our Filipino heritage, paved my way into a career in helping people navigate their and their families’ lives around health challenges especially associated to aging, particularly as it relates to Alzheimer’s Disease and related Dementias. I have been fortunate to work for organizations where I have effectively used my personal and professional experiences, and have never had to compromise who I am. Curating strong relationships allows me to recommend honorable colleagues and encourages me to be involved with like-minded individuals who have the same passion and desire to serve our community.
